Imota LCDA Y2026 Budget Retreat

The Imota Local Council Development Area, will between Wednesday, December 3rd and 5th, host stakeholders to a 3 – day budget retreat for Y2026 budget.

The retreat is themed, “Budget of Strategic Impact” and according to the Executive Chairman, Imota LCDA, Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele, the retreat is to ensure that the budget has real impact on the people and community.

“The Y2026 Budget Retreat is a 3-day event and a crucial period dedicated to honest reflection, strategic planning, and redefining what meaningful progress should look like for every resident of Imota LCDA.

“The theme, “Budget of Strategic Impact,” is more than just a slogan. This retreat reaffirms our commitment to delivering real, tangible improvements across our community, rebuilding areas that need strengthening, introducing smarter and more efficient systems, driving meaningful development, and implementing solutions that positively impact people’s daily lives.

He highlighted some of the focal points of the budget – road, education, environment and youth development among others.

“Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, December 3rd to 5th, the entire leadership team is united by one mission: “To ensure that every allocation in the 2026 budget translates into real development, better roads, improved education systems, cleaner environment, safer communities, and expanded opportunities for our youths.

“The future of Imota LCDA is not written in speeches, but in planning, data, and execution. The work begins now, and together we are building a better Imota LCDA.”
